Winners of Sixth Scientific Forum for KAU Students awarded

Winners of the Sixth Scientific Forum for KAU Students were awarded by the Acting KAU President, Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, at a special function held on Tuesday.
In his speech, Prof Alyoubi stressed that forum was in maintenance with KAU's earnest efforts to encourage initiatives, participation and students' thoughts with an eye to unlock their potential and develop their research skills.
Over 2500 submissions were made to this year's forum, with an increase of 30% from last year, according to Dr Abdulghani Mirah, chairman of the forum's organising committee.
A documentary on the forum produced by the Media centre was also screened at the event.
The forum's main categories include humanities and social sciences, engineering and technology, basic and natural sciences, health sciences and environmental designs.
Additional activities include inventions, entrepreneurship projects, patents and some other art contests. |
