Fifth 2013/2014 senate meeting held
 
 
 
A plethora of resolutions were adopted by the Senate of King Abdulaziz University (KAU), when it met on Sunday 25th May 2014 for its regular fifth meeting. 

Chaired by KAU President, Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, the meeting was attended by Dr Mohammed A. Al-Saleh, Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof Abdullah M. Mohorji, Vice President, Dr Abdul-Fattah Mashat, Vice President for Development, Dr Ahmed H. Nagadi, Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity, Prof Abdullah O. Bafil, Vice President for Projects, and other deans of deanships and faculties.

After considering the meeting's agenda, the meeting approved a number of BA and MA programmes at various faculties and institutes.

The meeting approved the university's annual report for the academic year 2013/2014.


Developed academic plans for some programmes were also approved.


Also approved were some other appointments, promotions and secondments.
